The Anduril Roadrunner is a modular, twin-jet powered autonomous air vehicle with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities, designed for air defense missions. It can carry various payloads for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, or as an interceptor. The Roadrunner-M variant is equipped with an explosive warhead to rapidly identify, intercept, and destroy aerial threats, while the base Roadrunner can be recovered and reused if no target engagement occurs, offering a cost-effective and flexible solution for countering modern aerial threats.
