Catalog and comparison methodology
RoboHub combines a hand-curated catalog, imported records and manufacturer claim edits. Completeness and provenance vary by record; a listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of availability.
Catalog records and corrections
The catalog merges static records with database additions and claim edits. Two known duplicates, universal-robots-ur10e and figure-ai-02, redirect to the curated ur10e and figure-02 records. Missing or invalid numeric specifications are shown as unknown. Contact legal@robohub.app with corrections and supporting sources.
Images
Images marked real have no warning label. Imported images marked scraped display “Source image · unverified”; this does not establish authenticity or manufacturer approval. Images marked ai display “AI render” and are illustrative. An image does not verify specifications, availability or price.
Prices
Estimated means the catalog amount is a budget reference, not a verified manufacturer price. Official price means an MSRP entry has an HTTPS source; the displayed date is the recorded verification date. Check the source for configuration, taxes, shipping and current availability. Quote-only entries show no purchase amount; subscription prices are separate from ownership. Converted currencies use indicative configured rates. Category price counts, ranges and medians use only positive verified MSRP entries; range and median are withheld when fewer than three are available.
Comparisons
The comparison eligibility check requires distinct valid robot identities, matching categories, meaningful descriptive content, use cases, and at least two meaningful shared specification fields. Comparisons failing that gate are not offered as indexable comparison pages or suggested comparison links. The gate measures data completeness, not independent testing or fitness for a deployment. Unknown specifications cannot win a comparison.
Robot forms and filters
Form hubs classify robot names, taglines, use cases and categories with deterministic keyword rules and reviewed slug overrides. Arms includes arms and cobots; Service includes service robots and autonomous mobile robots. Filters narrow manufacturer, minimum payload, minimum reach and verified prices. Classification is an aid to browsing and can need correction.
News and sources
The publication pipeline accepts an English title and article body, an optional source URL, related robots and media. It can use Gemini to produce translations and stores the available language versions. Articles display their source link when supplied: consult the linked official manufacturer or organization source for the underlying announcement. A source URL is not itself proof of independent verification; the publication endpoint does not require every source to be official. Missing translations fall back to the available canonical language.
Commercial disclosure
AliExpress and Amazon links may earn RoboHub affiliate commissions. Business sourcing is free for buyers; a vendor pays a disclosed success fee only on a closed deal. Claiming a listing is free. Price evidence and comparison eligibility do not depend on commission.
