Epson plans AX6 labeling and T3 vision demos at PACK EXPO 2026
Epson will show its AX6 cobot with a ColorWorks label printer for end-of-line box labeling, and its T3 All-in-One SCARA with Vision Guide, at PACK EXPO International, October 18–21, 2026 (booth W-35046).
Epson plans to demonstrate its AX6 collaborative six-axis robot and T3 All-in-One SCARA with Vision Guide at PACK EXPO International, October 18–21, 2026, booth W-35046. The October 6 announcement pairs robotic automation with ColorWorks printers for packaging and fulfillment, including box labeling and inspection for pick-and-place secondary operations.
AX6 for end-of-line box labeling
The Epson AX6 will be paired with a ColorWorks CW-C6000P for an automated end-of-line labeling demonstration. Epson describes the combination as applying on-demand color labels to boxes in fulfillment operations.
The official AX6 specification sheet lists a 6 kg maximum payload, 900 mm arm length measured from J2 to the wrist center, and ±0.03 mm repeatability. The robot weighs 18 kg excluding cables, carries an IP54 rating and supports AC 100–240 V or DC 48 V power. Epson describes power- and force-limiting features, with a proper risk assessment required for collaborative operation without safety shields.
T3 with integrated vision
Epson says its T3 All-in-One SCARA line, together with integrated Epson Vision Guide, will demonstrate inspection for pick-and-place secondary operations. The line's current model, the Epson T3-B, has its controller built into the robot's base, with vision guidance offered as an integrated option.
The official T3-B sheet lists a 3 kg maximum payload and 400 mm arm length, measured across joints 1 and 2. It identifies four joints and a robot weight of 16 kg excluding cables. Power is AC 100–240 V single phase. The current model includes Epson RC+ and RC+ Express software for developing robot applications. These are T3-B product details, rather than a specification of the show demonstration.
More labeling demonstrations
Other demonstrations cover rewinding with the CW-C8000, automatic cutting with the CW-C6500A, and Label Boost software with the CW-D3800. The lineup also includes mobile printing with the CW-C4000 and liner-free thermal labeling with the OmniLink TM-L100.
