GXO plans Digit expansion to North Carolina and Tennessee in 2027
GXO and Agility Robotics plan additional Digit deployments for early 2027, extending their warehouse partnership beyond Flowery Branch, Georgia.
Additional GXO sites planned
GXO Logistics and Agility Robotics announced an expanded partnership on 2026-10-26. Digit humanoid robots are expected to begin supporting e-commerce fulfillment at GXO's Statesville, North Carolina, and Lebanon, Tennessee, sites in early 2027. The planned work involves repetitive material handling.
Building on warehouse experience in Georgia
The expansion follows the companies' multi-year Robots-as-a-Service agreement in 2024 for GXO's Flowery Branch facility in Georgia. There, Digit has worked with existing automation to transfer totes onto conveyors. According to the joint announcement, Digit has moved more than 100,000 totes at that facility.
The new sites represent a planned expansion of the relationship; the release describes the Georgia work as the operational experience behind it.
Separate manufacturing programs and prospective customers
In a separate release on the same day, Agility reported 3 additional manufacturing customers taking part in paid programs focused on specific manufacturing needs. It did not identify those customers publicly. Agility also reported a pipeline of more than 30 prospective customers in commercial discussions or its Customer Acceleration Program. That pipeline describes prospective relationships rather than completed deployments.
