PACK EXPO 2026 robots: official demos and models to watch

FANUC, KUKA, Epson, Boston Dynamics, Mujin, FlexLink and others announced robot demos for PACK EXPO International, October 18–21, 2026, at McCormick Place, Chicago. Booths, models and applications.

PACK EXPO International runs October 18–21, 2026, at McCormick Place in Chicago. These official exhibitor announcements outline robot demonstrations for packaging, food handling, palletizing and inspection. Explore RoboHub’s packaging and pick-and-place hubs alongside the model links below.

FANUC

The show’s official exhibitor list (October 7) places FANUC at N-5117; check the floor plan, since FANUC’s own pages give other booth numbers. CRX-20iA/L demonstrates natural-language programming; CRX-10iA/L presents packages for vision and barcode checks. CRX-20iA/L, CRX-10iA and CRX-5iA coordinate picking, label checks, packing and palletizing. The high-payload demo is named CRX/30-18A in the release and CRX-30iA on the event page. DR-3iB/6 Stainless and SR-12iA/C place sausage links; LR Mate Food Clean packs frozen protein packages. M-710/50-26D with Food Option palletizes crates, while SR-9iA/R tracks moving parts, fills trays and transfers parts into cartons.

KUKA

At N-5530, FOCUS Integration’s FOCUS CUBE combines KR IONTEC palletizing and depalletizing with KMP 1500P pallet removal. Compendium uses KR AGILUS for case loading; Acieta uses KR CYBERTECH for strap removal and flat-carton magazine loading. Next Tech Automation and Lyro use KR AGILUS to load randomly oriented pork chops into a thermoformer. An LBR iisy station demonstrates iiQKA.OS2. KUKA does not specify arm variants for these robot families.

Epson

At W-35046, AX6 labels boxes with a ColorWorks CW-C6000P. Epson also announces Vision Guide inspection for T3-line secondary pick-and-place operations. The exhibited T3 SKU is unspecified; RoboHub’s current-model record is T3-B. More in our Epson demo preview.

Boston Dynamics

At N-4827, Boston Dynamics announces demonstrations of Stretch for material handling and Spot for industrial inspection. Its event page names both robots; it does not describe a particular packaging-line configuration.

Mujin

At N-4963, Mujin’s Mantis Gripper demonstration pairs a Yaskawa heavy-payload robot with MujinOS and MujinPortal for consumer-goods picking, including difficult cases. MujinPack demonstrates pallet building. The announcement names the gripper and software but does not identify the Yaskawa robot model.

FlexLink

FlexLink announces the RC20 collaborative palletizer at Coesia’s S-2501 booth. Its display also includes hygienic positive-drive conveying, elevation with condition monitoring and zero-pressure accumulation. The RC20 product page identifies its arm as FANUC CRX-20iA/L; RoboHub records the complete palletizing cell separately.

CHUWEI

At LL-9821, CHUWEI announces ABB SwiftPack DP-3600 high-speed case packing, ABB FLEXPACK VP-1600 with flexible gripping for case packing, and ABB TitanStack PL-4600-PD palletizing with automatic pallet dispensing. These are named integrated systems; the announcement does not specify their underlying ABB arm models.

Robotiq

Robotiq’s N-4642 announcement focuses on palletizing innovations and workcells for varied production environments. It does not identify a particular robot arm or palletizing-system SKU, so there is no exact-model catalog link for this demonstration.

Doosan Robotics Americas / ONExia

ONExia announces packaging demonstrations by Doosan Robotics Americas covering cobot palletizing, case erecting and case packing. The official show directory lists LU-8214. The event announcement does not name the cobot models behind those applications.

Brenton

At S-3758, Brenton announces a connected casepacker and palletizer operating as an integrated end-of-line system. Its show announcement names the application but does not identify the machines or robot models, leaving that configuration unspecified.
